Ultrasound

Tomorrow is a big day for us!  We get to see Clinton on an ultrasound!

Every visit that I've had at the doctor since about 24 weeks, she has measured my belly.  Usually this measurement corresponds to the number of weeks you are.  For example, at 24 weeks I should measure 24 centimeters.  Well, we have always measured 2 centimeters bigger and at 24 weeks I was measuring 26 weeks.  Since that time we have remained consistent always measuring 2 weeks ahead.  The doctor had mentioned doing another ultrasound (you would normally only have two ultrasounds the entire pregnancy - one at the beginning and one in the middle at around 20 weeks), but wanted to wait until closer to my due date of October 12th to gauge how big he was.

At my 32 week appointment this past Friday, the measurement jumped up to 4 weeks ahead!  This means that my belly is measuring at 36 centimeters or 36 weeks.  So we get to see our little guy tomorrow!    The doctor does not seemed concerned, but we just want to see how big he really is at this point.

As some of you know, the hubs was 9lb 8 1/2oz when he was born, so this comes as no surprise to us.  We are excited to see him, but also a little anxious as this could potentially move our due date up a bit.  Would you say a prayer for us?  For peace, guidance, and comfort knowing that God is all knowing and has everything all worked out.

Our next doctor's appointment isn't until September 3rd, so we may not know anything until then, but we will keep you updated if we hear anything.
