Clinton is considered full term and can arrive at any time! He is developed enough that even if he came tomorrow he would be just fine.
Here's what's going on with us! Sean and I are thrilled to meet him. We have our hospital bag packed and are just waiting on Clinton to make his appearance.
We are going to the doctor once a week to get a check-up. We probably will not have any more ultrasounds. My blood pressure has been fantastic the entire pregnancy and I'm just now starting to have a tad of swelling in my ankles some days. The best way to fight this is to put your feet up and drink plenty of water.
While we are ready for him to arrive any day, most first time pregnancies usually go until 41 weeks. We are trying to stay patient, but it's difficult. We can't wait to show off our little man to you all!

In our 37th week...
Clinton continues to grow and develop, measuring over 19 inches long, and weighing 6 ½ lbs or more!During
week 37, his most important job is to keep putting on weight.
Actually, that’s his primary job from now until delivery. Technically speaking, we will be full term on Saturday (37 weeks), so he could come any time now!
Adapted from Everyday Family & The Bump
- He's getting closer and closer to being able to breathe on his own.
- His skin is getting smooth and soft and his gums are rigid.
- His liver and kidneys are in working order.
- Circulation and immune systems are basically good to go, too.

In our 36th week...
He now measures anywhere from 19 to 22 inches long and might weigh about 6 lbs (but probably more in our case)! Many of my apps say he's about the size of a large cantaloupe. As our due date approaches (only a month from tomorrow!), our little one will settle deeper in the
pelvis. This reduces pressure on my rib cage, allowing me more room
to expand my diaphragm (yay!), but now there may be more pressure on your
bladder (boo).
By week 35, Clinton’s kidneys are completely developed. His liver is also beginning to produce waste. In fact, a majority of his growth is already done. However, you should expect him to put on some more weight over the next few weeks. As space is at a premium, I may not feel as much tossing and turning inside of me, but I will definitely feel some healthy punches and kicks. Clinton has always been a mover and a shaker and while it's slowed a bit, he is still very active!

Other fun facts:
- Now, his hearing is fully developed, and he responds best to high-pitched noises.
- My uterus has grown about 1,000 times its original size!!
- Clinton will continue to put on 1/2 lb or more each week until his arrival

In our 34th week...
He weighs about 5 pounds and measures about 17.2 to 18.7
inches (although Clinton is probably bigger than this!). And he may grow up to a full inch this week -- amazing. And from this week, until two weeks before birth, he will gain about a half-pound of weight every week.
The bones in his skull are formed, but aren’t fused. They actually don’t fuse entirely until early adulthood, allowing room for his brain to grow throughout childhood. Because they aren’t fused, the bones in his skull will be able to overlap, helping him to fit through the birth canal during delivery.

Other fun facts:
- He's keeping his eyes open while awake.
- He's also starting to coordinate breathing with sucking and swallowing.
- His bones are hardening.
- And he going through (more) major brain development -- that's one smart baby!

In our 26th week...
Clinton is measuring
about 14 inches long, he weighs just less than 2 pounds! His lungs
continue to develop, and he is taking small breaths of amniotic fluid
inside the womb. These small breaths are getting him in shape for his
first breath of fresh air. His veins are visible through his
transparent skin, but soon that will change, as his skin begins to turn
opaque.
The nerve pathways are becoming more and more developed, making him more responsive to sound. Sometimes I can feel him jump inside of me when he is startled by a sudden noise. Also, he may be developing the cute habit of thumb-sucking right now!

In our 25th week...
Clinton continues to grow and develop. Measuring about
13 inches long, he weighs 1.5 - 2lbs! In the coming weeks, he will continue to grow and mature at a fast rate, gaining some
baby fat and filling out his long, lean frame.
As he gains weight, his skin begins to become less wrinkled and he begins to look more, and more like a newborn. Also, his skin is finally gaining some color. His hands are fully developed by this week, fingerprints and all! And at 25 weeks, the structure of the spine is beginning to form (33 rings, 150 joints, and 1000 ligaments)!

It's crazy how active our little one is! Almost every time Sean and I place our hand on my belly he moves, kicks, or gives us a high five. It is such a blessing to know that he is moving and growing so much. I will say it again (and probably many more times), God is amazing and His miracles astound me!

In our 24th week...
[Our] baby continues to grow and develop. He is now
about the size of an ear of corn: measuring around 12 inches long and
weighing around 1.5 pounds! In the coming weeks, our baby will
continue to grow and mature at a fast rate, gaining about 6 ounces of
weight a week. His brain is growing rapidly, and his taste buds are
developing.
He is pretty lean at 24 weeks, but he'll soon be putting on some "baby fat" to fill out his frame and his wrinkled skin, which is due to the lack of subcutaneous fat. He has begun to develop white blood cells. These cells are responsible for fighting off disease and infection. His lungs develop branches this week, and his inner ear is completely developed. In fact, he has basic control over all of his senses: hearing, touch, taste, smell, and vision!
